Unfortunately thirteen people including many young children were displaced on the morning of March 31 due to an apartment fire in Decatur.  

Stone River had the opportunity to be a safe place for folks to sit, gather their thoughts, and be fed while their kids played. A long journey of healing is ahead, but for now essentials are key. Many basic items have already been bought or donated, but the need is still great. Several of you have asked how to make donations so a link has been created. 

Contributions can be made to Stone River for Fire Disaster Relief and will be disbursed to the victims who have indicated a need.

Your purpose is to actively demonstrate the love of Jesus. In loving others, you are invited to grow … be more generous, more accepting, more loving, more yourself, and more willing to listen. By sharing Jesus’ love with everyone, you’ll find deeper meaning and fulfillment in your life.
